This render is a personal study where I recreated the cover art from the “what is ?” YouTube channel. The original image uses a floating cocktail, bold lighting, and heavy film grain. I wanted to recreate the mood and composition using only Blender; without relying on AI or external effects to test my lighting, materials, and composition control inside a purely 3D workflow.

I was responsible for the logo, visual direction, and 3D assets for Torsion. The identity needed to combine the concepts of torque and the Kozyrev mirror with a retro PlayStation-inspired aesthetic. My work included sketches, vector development, animation, and low-poly asset creation.

A fully 3D recreation of a traditional Korean hanok courtyard, modeled and lit in Blender using a single reference image as the foundation. The aim was to capture the architectural proportions, the texture of aged wood and clay, and the warm, late-autumn atmosphere without relying on photogrammetry or multiple angle references. This piece focuses on translating limited visual information into a believable, lived-in historical environment.
