Iconic Braun HL 1 fan, designed by Reinhold Weiss in 1959 for Braun AG in Frankfurt, Germany. Celebrated as one of Braun’s most famous designs, it’s frequently showcased in museums around the world. This table fan operates with two speed settings and features a grey-painted metal base (with its original sticker and soft-corner stands), a chrome metal frame, and a light grey (white) plastic housing. The transparent plastic cover, proudly bearing the Braun logo, encloses the switch and fan blades.
I recreated the iconic 1959 Braun HL 1 fan in Blender by first gathering reference images to ensure accurate proportions. After blocking out the base, housing, and chrome frame, I refined each component, applied realistic materials for metal and plastic, and added the transparent cover. Details like the Braun logo, original sticker, and a subtle repaired crack complete the authenticity. Finally, I fine-tuned lighting and camera angles to highlight its timeless design.
