This project is a photorealistic 3D render created entirely in Blender, using the Cycles rendering engine. It features a keychain hanging from a carabiner clipped to a denim waistband — a small, often overlooked object that carries a lot of visual and tactile richness.
Every single element in the scene was modeled from scratch, including the car key, standard house key, keyring, carabiner, belt loop, and even the denim fabric itself. The goal was to challenge myself to recreate a mundane everyday setup with a strong emphasis on realism, material accuracy, and lighting.

Post Processed Render
For the modeling workflow, I relied heavily on subdivision surface modeling techniques. This approach was particularly useful for the smooth, manufactured surfaces of the carabiner and car key fob, as well as ensuring the cloth had believable creases and deformation while maintaining clean topology. The wireframe render showcases the subdivision-ready geometry and attention to edge flow throughout the entire piece.
